From start to finish, Goodrich designs, manufactures and services complete landing gear systems for commercial, military and business aircraft. With major landing gear facilities in the U.S., Canada and Poland, Goodrich is prepared to handle jobs worldwide.

Goodrich engineers work closely with customers to ensure the best possible solution for their landing system requirements. Using best-of-class manufacturing processes, we can improve productivity, decrease inventory and reduce program risk while maximizing the affordability of our product.

Armed with proprietary computational methodology, we've designed software to accurately predict performance in terms of shimmy, retraction, kinematics and more, giving us an advantage before production even begins. And when it's time for testing, our 90 foot (27.4 m) drop test tower is rated up to 400 tons (362,875 kg), offering the capacity to test landing systems for the next generation of 800-ton (725,750 kg) super transport jets.

Company History

Goodrich has a distinguished history dating back to 1926, when the Cleveland Pneumatic Company, now part of Goodrich, introduced the industry's first air-oil landing gear strut. More recently, Goodrich merged with Menasco in 1999 to become the world's largest supplier of landing systems.

Today, Goodrich continues to grow and provide landing systems to major aircraft companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Bombardier. Through our numerous innovations and breakthroughs in aerospace technology, we're going above and beyond our customers' expectations.
